Elysian Orchards Cashews – Plain Ivory Delight

Elysian Orchards Cashews – Plain Ivory Delight are made for those who prefer purity, simplicity, and natural taste in their everyday nutrition.

These premium plain cashews are naturally rich in plant protein, healthy fats, and essential minerals that help support daily energy, muscle strength, and overall wellness. With their smooth ivory colour and husk-removed finish, they offer a cleaner taste, softer bite, and easier digestion compared to unprocessed cashews.

Carefully graded as W180 whole cashews, they are known for their large size, uniform appearance, and creamy consistency — delivering both visual appeal and superior texture in every handful.

The cashew tree (Anacardium occidentale) is a tropical evergreen plant that can grow up to 14 meters in height. Commercially cultivated dwarf varieties grow up to 6 meters and are preferred for their earlier maturity and higher yield cycles lasting over 25–30 years.

Nutritional Significance

Cashew nuts primarily contain heart-supporting monounsaturated fats, especially Oleic Acid, a naturally occurring omega-9 fatty acid also found in olive oil. Oleic acid supports cardiovascular health by improving cholesterol balance.

They are a natural source of copper, which contributes to the formation of collagen and elastin — important for skin structure and elasticity.

Cashews also provide high-quality amino acids such as tryptophan, beneficial for growing children, athletes, and the elderly.

Their dietary fibre supports bowel health, improves lipid profile, and enhances satiety.

They contain significant amounts of B-complex vitamins, particularly Thiamine (B1) and Vitamin B6, which support energy metabolism and nervous system function.

Additionally, they supply essential minerals including phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, iron, and zinc, all of which contribute to bone strength, oxygen transport, immune support, and metabolic balance.

A single handful offers a meaningful intake of trace elements and antioxidants that help protect the body from oxidative stress.

Pure by Choice

- Whole premium W180 grade cashews

- Husk removed for a smoother texture and cleaner taste

- No added salt

- No preservatives

- No artificial processing

Each cashew is carefully selected for its uniform size, creamy texture, and mild natural sweetness — ensuring consistency and quality in every pack.

Packaging

Our philosophy is simple: buy in small quantities and consume fresh produce.

We use triple-layer laminate vacuum packaging technology to ensure freshness, protection during transit, and preservation of taste and texture.

The Three Layers:

- Inner Layer (Product Contact): Food-safe Polyethylene (PE) or Cast Polypropylene (CPP) ensures hermetic sealing.

- Middle Barrier Layer: Aluminum foil / Metallized PET / EVOH protects against oxygen, moisture, light, and aroma loss.

- Outer Layer (Protection & Print): BOPP or Polyester (PET) provides durability, puncture resistance, and premium print surface.

This structure ensures extended shelf stability without compromising natural quality.

How to Use (Indian Kitchen Friendly)

Enjoy them as a wholesome snack, or use them in everyday Indian cooking:

- Blend into cashew paste for gravies, curries, and paneer dishes

- Add to kheer, halwa, and sweets for richness

- Use in dry sabzis, pulao, and biryani garnishing

- Soak and grind for vegan sauces and creamy bases

They also pair well with fruits and dates for a naturally balanced snack.

Origin Advantage - What Makes These Cashews Special?

What truly makes a difference is where they’re grown and how they’re graded.

- Sourced from quality-growing belts (Konkan) — an area known for naturally sweet and creamy cashews. The coastal climate helps develop a smoother texture and fuller flavour compared to mixed market varieties.

- W180 Grade Whole Cashews — This grading means larger, fuller cashews with fewer broken pieces. In simple terms: the bigger the cashew, the more premium the selection. W180 is considered one of the superior whole-kernel grades available in retail.

- Naturally Creamier & Slightly Sweeter — Unlike bulk commercial packs that mix different sizes and textures, these are carefully sorted for uniformity and consistency in every handful.

- Selected, Not Randomly Packed — Many regular market cashews are blended from multiple grades. Here, you get consistent size, smooth ivory finish, and reliable quality — pack after pack.

Cashews are widely consumed worldwide, but premium whole kernels like W180 represent a more selective portion of the harvest. That’s why they’re often chosen for gifting, festive cooking, and premium snacking.

HARVEST

The harvest period for cashews varies depending on the producing country and regional climatic conditions. Cashew trees typically begin bearing fruit three years after planting, with full commercial yields stabilising after 7–8 years. The harvesting window depends largely on rainfall patterns, humidity levels, and regional temperature variations.

India:
Cashew harvest in India typically takes place from February to May, with variations depending on the specific region and climate. Coastal belts such as Konkan, Goa, Kerala, and parts of Karnataka contribute significantly to production. The peak harvest period generally falls between March and April.

Vietnam:
Cashew harvest in Vietnam usually occurs from late February to May, with the peak harvest season in March and April. Vietnam is one of the world’s largest processors and exporters of cashew kernels, known for efficient processing and grading systems.

Brazil:
Cashew harvest in Brazil generally takes place from September to January, depending on the specific region and climatic variations. Brazil was historically one of the earliest large-scale exporters of cashew nuts.

Nigeria:
Cashew harvest in Nigeria typically starts in March and can extend until July, with regional variations. Nigeria is one of Africa’s leading cashew-producing nations and plays a growing role in global raw cashew nut supply.

Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast):
Cashew harvest in Ivory Coast usually occurs from February to June, with the peak harvest season between March and May. Ivory Coast is currently the world’s largest producer of raw cashew nuts, contributing the highest share to global supply.

Tanzania:
Cashew harvest in Tanzania generally takes place from September to February, with variations depending on regional rainfall cycles. Tanzania is known for producing high-quality raw cashew nuts used in international trade.

Please note that these harvest periods are approximate and may vary based on weather conditions, tree maturity, agricultural practices, and annual yield cycles.

Elysian Orchards sources its premium W180 cashews from the Konkan region of India, where the coastal climate contributes to naturally sweet and creamy kernel development.
